The recently released HTC One M8 could be set for a ‘super high-end’ upgrade if we’re to believe customary leaker @evleaks. The famous tipster has posted an alleged 360-degree render of this device on its twitter account. This time it claims that the updated device aka HTC One M8 Prime will be waterproof, having an aluminium and liquid silicone casing and it will support category 6 LTE.
The smartphone featured in the render sports dark gray colour and matte finish. The front features the same BoomSound dual stereo speakers seen in HTC One M8 and a mysterious sensor just above the screen. The back of the smartphone has a dual-lens camera with a dual-LED flash. The camera lens is surrounded by a raised, orange coloured ring. It looks like the lens is bigger than the one found on One M8. It will probably come with a 5.5-inch QHD (2560x1440p) display with the volume rocker and power buttons located at the right edge.
Reportedly, the handset will be powered by a quad-core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, with 3GB RAM; the current top HTC model has the 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 chipset and 2GB RAM. It is also said to have better 4G data transfer capability, allowing it to download data at speeds up to 300 Mbps.
HTC is likely to launch this smartphone in September, coinciding with the launch of the next-generation iPhone. Priorly, we showed you the alleged HTC M8 Ace, another stunning device that the Taiwanese company may launch soon.Electrifying era is approaching HTC, isn’t it?
