Google Keep is Google’s note taking app that allows us to jot down notes, create lists, and add images and audio. The only problem with Google Keep is that it doesn’t get updated often. However, Google has now come out with a much awaited update to the Keep with a couple of new features.
Google Keep now allows you to share your notes and lists with other people. For example, if you make a shopping list and share it with your family on the Keep, each individual can do their share of the shopping and the items will get ticked off in real time as soon as they are bought. This way, things will get done much faster as no back and forth messaging is needed. Sharing of notes and lists through Keep can be useful at work too.
The update has also made searching through your notes much simpler. You can search through your color coded messages by color or by their other attributes such as their sharing, reminders, image or audio attachments, or if they are lists etc. This helps you to find whatever you need much faster.
You can download and install Google Keep on your Android phones for free from Google Play. Your phones need to be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or above. The update has already started rolling out for existing Google Keep users on Google Play and it is also available on the Chrome Web Store and the Web.
