YotaPhone is manufactured by Russia-based manufacturer Yota. It is the first smartphone which will have two displays, one at the back and one at the front of the device. The back screen is actually an e-ink screen which is mainly used as a notifications display and in some cases expands app functionality.
Yotaphone 2 will definitely bring more powerful hardware, a better looking design and software refinements. It is going to be shown off at an invitation only event in London on December 3. The device made its debut at Mobile World Congress back in February. The details on the pricing are remain unknown until this entry was published.
The device which was detailed back in February this year, will include a 5-inch 1920×1080 AMOLED screen on one side and a 4.7-inch 960×540 e-ink panel on the other. It will be running on a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, a 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel cameras. There will be a unique feature called Smart Power Mode feature which will allow users to turned off the AMOLED screen and rely on e-ink in other to extend the life of the device.
After knowing the possible technical specification but without knowing the pricing, are you considering of having one?
