There have been reports that Microsoft, which has bought Nokia’s smartphone division, is working on a new smartphone as a successor to the Lumia 1020, the best camera phone till date. We do not know what the successor will be called but for the time being, the new phone has been dubbed as the Lumia 1030. Recently, ITHome from China has created a concept design for the Lumia 1030 handset.
The Lumia 1030 concept phone designer shows it to be a high-end phone featuring 5.8-inch Quad HD 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution display, much bigger than the 4.5-inch 768 x 1280 pixels resolution display of the Lumia 1020. The Lumia 1030 concept phone has been shown to have a 41 megapixel PureView camera on the back side, with Xenon and LED flashes. It will have an 8.7 megapixel camera at the front for selfies.
Other specs visualized by the designer include Snapdragon 805 CPU, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage and a powerful 4300 mAh battery. The Lumia 1030 concept is quite thick as camera phones generally are, but it has thin bezels. It is supposed to run Widows 10 which might well be true as Microsoft is already testing it for smartphones.
