The Next HTC Hero Smartphone Rumored to Come with Superb New Camera Specs

HTC announced that the company will redesigned the camera function for its next flagship smartphone and it will be released in October this year. The smartphone is going to be released under the name HTC Aero.

According to a report in Vietnam, it is mentioned that HTC Aero will come with an enhanced rear camera with improved UI. It is going to be more revolutionary than the Ultrapixel technology which is found in HTC One(M7)  as it is supposed to allow more light to come into the sensor and thus results in better photos quality especially when it is taken under low-light conditions.

The camera on HTC Aero is rumored to have an aperture of f/1.9 compared to HTC One M9 which is having f/2.2 aperture size. With smaller aperture size, the amount of light which is coming in will be more nicely parallel to each other which resulted in sharper focus for all the lights which are coming in. On the other hand, with bigger aperture size, only light rays which are closely match to each other are coming in parallel. This means that whatever location that you had focused on when taking it will be sharper whereas the farther or closer object will be blurry.

There is not much information on HTC Aero as of now. However, it is expected that HTC Aero will come with QHD display and running on either Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or MediaTek Helio X20 chipset.

Well,  stay tune to find out!

HTC Aero the Next Flagship Smartphone from HTC Rumored to be Launched October This Year

HTC chairwoman and CEO Cher Wang hinted on the new flagship smartphone which is going to be released October this year during the company’s general meeting with shareholders regarding the company’s low performance during the previous quarter. Recently HTC has just released HTC One M9+ which is going to be available soon in Europe. HTC One M9+ boasts 5.2-inch Quad HD display screen and a MediaTek Octa-Core which clocked at 2.2GHz.

The rumored next smartphone flagship which is hinted by Wang is codenamed HTC Aero. Given that the previous HTC smartphone is already using Quad HD display, it is expected that HTC Aero is also going to use the same technology. On top of that if the latest Snapdragon 820 chipset is already released by that time, hopefully, HTC Aero is using the chipset as one of its component. The question which remains now is that whether HTC Aero will be using OIS technology which is going to make tremendous improvement on the camera quality.

Another possibility is that HTC Aero will be using MediaTek Helio X20 as the processor. Well, whether it is using Snapdragon 820 chipset or MediaTek Helio X20, we are excited to see the final product. Nothing can be confirmed as of now. We will keep you updated in case there is a new rumor coming up for HTC Aero before the official release date.

Lack of Innovation in Android Smartphones Manufacturers

It seems like there is lesser things to look forward from Android-based smartphone. Most of the newly launched smartphone running on Android are having more or less the same feature as the previous version. When we talk about innovation, it means the idea which is out of the box and meant to revolutionized the device be it hardware or software.

Lets us take a look at Samsung. Recently, Samsung has just released two new smartphones which are Android based, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Instead of adding new functionality to the device while keeping the rest the same, Samsung has revamped the design of Galaxy models for the two new models. It is no surprise that the company aims for 70 million plus global sales. However, the two models do not have microSD slot as well as removable battery which is seen as a small sacrifice.

HTC One M9, another smartphone which is running on Android has the same design as the previous model with small updates here and there. Sony is releasing Xperia Z4 soon. Apparently Xperia Z4 will have the same design as Xperia Z3 but with enhanced processor. Huawei which is going to release the new P8 comes with a slimmer body, updated camera, better display, longer lasting battery life and new processor. It seems like Huawei is doing a lot more than the other two smartphone manufacturer.

LG has made headlines with its LG G3 which was released last year as it comes with a Quad HD display. This year, eventhough it is not confirmed yet, LG is going to launch G4 which comes with tweaked display, bigger battery and new design options.

Above are some of Android smartphone manufacturers which its name is popular in the industry. It seems like it is reasonable to just release one new model each year while looking for other innovative ideas to be implemented in the device.

HTC Rumored to Launch Low Entry Tablet in Q2 2015

According to the recent tweet from @upleaks, HTC is going to release an entry level of tablet with the code name of HTC H7 in the second quarter of 2015. There is no further detail or whatsoever about the tablet, including the screen size, display resolution, chipset and design. The only hint that we know that it is most probably will have a 7-inch screen size if we based on the codename.

HTC is one of the manufacturers of Google’s Nexus devices. Last year, HTC worked with Google to make Nexus 9. Recently, Nexus 9 has received an update to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for its OS. With the partnership ended, it is expected that HTC will produce some of the better quality of tablets since then.

There is also another rumor that HTC might produce another tablet which is a Nexus 9 version with MediaTek chipset which is going to launch in Chinese market. However, so far, it is not realized yet. It seems that HTC will need to make the product announcement latest by end of June if the company wants to materialize the product.

HTC One M9 Will Have Loud Stereo BoomSound Speakers

HTC One M9 Will Have Loud Stereo BoomSound Speakers

One of the features that distinguish HTC One (M8) from other mobile phones is its Stereo BoomSound speakers, so it wouldn’t be rather shocking to hear that HTC’s new One M9 will also have the same audio technology included. It could be possible that it might not have the same speakers but would have even better ones.

Today it has been put forward by HTC that the One M9 will consist of even more dominant BoomSound speakers. A short teaser video has been presented by the company on Twitter, with a comment saying “get your hands on bigger boom.”

However, the video released doesn’t display much about the new HTC One M9, but it is quite clear that the mobile phone will have very thunderous speakers.

According to report of past, it could be possible that HTC teamed up with Dolby Laboratories so that it may set up Dolby 5.1 audio technology in its latest HTC One M9. Next flagship smart-phone of HTC will be announced at MWC on 1st of March, also on the same day Samsung has planned to reveal its new flagship handset.

The latest smartphone of the company will come in two variations, one of which would be the One M9 Plus with Quad HD display on 5.2 inches screen and other will be One M9 consisting of 5 inches screen with 1080 display.

It is supposed that both handsets will consist of advanced BoomSound speakers, but that can only be tell at MWC on 1st March.

Additional details about HTC One M9 camera sensor and SoC clock speed leaked

HTC’s new flagship One M9 which is going to be unveiled on March 1 at the MWC in Barcelona, has seen numerous leaks up till now. Just recently we saw its renders, specs and other details leaked. Now a new leak has emerged, this time from Twitter that gives some additional details about the HTC One M9 specs.

According to the leaks, the new HTC flagship is supposed to have an improved 20MP rear camera. Spigen’s HTC One M9 cases appearing for pre-order on Amazon also confirmed it. Now this new tip by Roland Quandt claims “filling in the blanks” for the said phone regarding its 20MP camera. According to him, the camera will feature f/2.2 aperture and 27.8 mm lens. This means that the camera might not be Sony’s 20MP snapper that has been used in smartphones such as Xperia Z3 and Meizu MX4, but may be of some other make.

Another leakster Ricciolo tipped PhoneArena that the camera sensor in One M9 is made by Toshiba which is another big surprise from HTC after the huge 5X jump in its camera compared to One M8. This reliable tippster claims that the size of the camera sensor is 1/2.4” which is a little smaller than Sony’s.

Roland Quandt has also confirmed that the HTC One M9 will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC. It will have 4 cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2GHz and 4 cortex-A53 clocked at 1.5GHz. The new HTC phone will run Android 5.0.2 with the company’s own Sense 7 UI on top.

Well, we will know for sure in a few days as the MWC 2015 is just round the corner.

HTC One M8i Specification Leaks

HTC One M8i is a variant of HTC One M8 which was launched in March 2014. The device was expected to be launched during MWC 2015 which will be held in Barcelona together with HTC One M9. There are a lot of similarities between M8i and M8 in terms of the measurement, weight as well as the look of it. However, the difference is on the processing power.

HTC One M8i will be running on octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 clocking at 1.7GHz for four cores and 1.0GHz for the other four chipsets. On top of that eventhough the device is still having DuoCamera setup, however, the camera will be of 13MP and 2MP secondary eye with a bokeh effect. The front camera comes with a 5MP resolution which is optimized to Selfie. Some of the software features available to the Desire EYE is expected to be found in the M8i also.

HTC One M8i will have a 5-inch screen with 1080 x 1920 resolution, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, BoomSound front-facing stereo speakers, microSD slot, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, and a battery with a capacity smaller “than 3000 mAh”. All these specifications are similar to HTC One M8 too.

The HTC Hima Ace Plus is rumored to be the next phablet variant for HTC. The Portugal leakster has described that it will feature a 5.5-inch display screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The display panels will be without side bezels and the stereo BoomSound speakers will be placed on top and bottom, similar to present design of HTC smartphones.

HTC’s RE Camera gets support for live video streaming on YouTube

HTC had launched its super wide angle handheld RE Camera at its ‘Double Exposure’ event in October last year. The “remarkable little camera” as dubbed by HTC has now got support for live video streaming on YouTube. Users will be able to stream videos directly to YouTube and “share moments as they happen”.

The Taiwan-based giant revealed at this year’s CES that Android users will get this feature via an RE app update immediately from the next day. iOS devices will get the RE camera app update for the live YouTube streaming feature later, but in Q1 of 2015 itself.

The live streaming feature of the RE Camera is easy to use. After you get the RE app update, you have to sign in to your YouTube channel and then activate its live streaming feature. After verification, live streaming from RE is easy. Live footage that you wish to share will be sent from your RE camera to your smartphone, which then transmits it to your YouTube channel. You can send the broadcast link via social networks or text and invite people to view your event live. They will also be able to see the broadcast after it ends as the link remains active. The live streaming can be broadcast in private mode for selective audiences or in public mode for anyone to see.

RE Camera’s main competitor GoPro is also capable of streaming live footage but its process is not so simple. The live streaming feature is also available in many of Sony’s high-end Xperia devices.

Windows 10 Store Unauthorized Photo Shows HTC Windows Phone App

This recent leaked image of the Windows 10 Store has given rise to a lot of assumptions. But until the parties involved have given a word about it, we can only keep on guessing on the possibilities. Apparently the unauthorized photo imparts that it might offer an HTC Windows Phone app or maybe more. The app in discussion is called Make More Space, which is designed to send notification when the free storage space of an HTC branded Windows Phone is low. After getting the warning, the user can delete apps and content from his mobile phone.

Another theory that was made due to the leaked image was that HTC might be working on Windows 10-utilized handsets. And this belief was somehow strengthened by the brand’s upcoming flagship phone also known as HTC Hima, which was also rumoured to be supported by Windows Phone.

HTC Next Smartphone: HTC One (M9) Specs and Rumors

Earlier this year, HTC has released HTC One (M8) which consists of all the specs that anyone wanted for a smartphone.  On top of that, it comes with great and stylish build. The next smartphone from HTC might be named HTC One (M9) or maybe some other naming convention. There is rumor that HTC is going to change the naming scheme this time. We expect it to be better than HTC One (M8) so let us take a look at the possible specification, shall we?

We generally expect the HTC One M9 to launch in March 2015. Since based on the previous records, the flagship phone is always launched in the Spring. There is no official pricing announced yet. However, based on the previous records, for example, HTC One M7, it went on sale for around £500, HTC One M8 went on sale for around £550, we expect it to be around that range too.

For the technical specification, based on the concept specs, it suggests that it will be equipped with Snapdragon 810 processor, Quad HD screen, large 3500 mAh battery and a 5.1MP front facing camera. We expect it to run on the latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Well, we just have to wait for the subsequent news to get the more confirmed specs.
