The Next HTC Hero Smartphone Rumored to Come with Superb New Camera Specs

HTC announced that the company will redesigned the camera function for its next flagship smartphone and it will be released in October this year. The smartphone is going to be released under the name HTC Aero.

According to a report in Vietnam, it is mentioned that HTC Aero will come with an enhanced rear camera with improved UI. It is going to be more revolutionary than the Ultrapixel technology which is found in HTC One(M7)  as it is supposed to allow more light to come into the sensor and thus results in better photos quality especially when it is taken under low-light conditions.

The camera on HTC Aero is rumored to have an aperture of f/1.9 compared to HTC One M9 which is having f/2.2 aperture size. With smaller aperture size, the amount of light which is coming in will be more nicely parallel to each other which resulted in sharper focus for all the lights which are coming in. On the other hand, with bigger aperture size, only light rays which are closely match to each other are coming in parallel. This means that whatever location that you had focused on when taking it will be sharper whereas the farther or closer object will be blurry.

There is not much information on HTC Aero as of now. However, it is expected that HTC Aero will come with QHD display and running on either Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or MediaTek Helio X20 chipset.

HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 to get the latest Android L update in just “90 days of receiving final software from Google"

Last week, Google unveiled its latest Android OS the “Android L” along with many other new features at the Google I/O 2014 event. The Taiwanese manufacturer HTC didn’t wait for a moment is the first manufacturer to announce its two major flagship HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 to receive the latest Android version within just 90 days of getting the final software from Google.

However, till now Google hasn’t provided the final Android L software to most of the manufacturers, but the search giant is likely to release it soon. The Android L release is however scheduled “this fall” and so any kind of official updates before that couldn’t be expected. Both these HTC flagship smartphones are expected to receive the update by the end of this year.

Till now, HTC hasn’t promised any kind of update for Android L to its other devices.

Developer And Unlocked Editions Of HTC One M7 Are Getting Sense 6

All the Canadian HTC One M7 phones are getting upgraded to Sense 6. This update will require 668MB space, so it is wise to use WiFi when you are upgrading your phone. This upgrade to Sense 6 is available for unlocked as well as developer versions of the device.

The upcoming Sense 6 upgrade is not the only the good news. New UI has better Blinkfeed version also. It comes with many more improvements including upgraded camera app.

Recently, HTC has moved some of its important HTC apps to Google Play for the users’ ease. Now with every update of these apps, there is no requirement to upgrade the complete operating system.

Sense 6 made a debut in HTC One M8. In M7, all the features of M8 will not get available after the update but a lot more will be changed that every user would love to enjoy.

US carrier version cannot enjoy the upgrade for some times. According to the HTC page, the upgrade is still pending as it is in the certification stage now for the regular US carrier versions of the M7. HTC and other affiliated parties will test it more. Certification is the final step and the time required for the completion process is not known.

People who are using regular US carrier versions of the M7 need to wait a bit to enjoy this new update. But if you own a Developer or Unlocked model then you can surely download this upgrade and start enjoying this new update.

HTC Sense 6 comes to the HTC One M7

Selected versions of the HTC One M7 now get the latest version of HTC’s custom Sense UI. Sense 6 can be now installed especially on Developer Edition and unlocked models of HTC One M7.

HTC One M8 is currently powered by full version of Sense 6 however the Sense 6 available for HTC One M7 is not exactly the same full version. Advanced DuoCamera effects and Motion Gestures are absent in the version of Sense 6 available for HTC One M7 and it’s because of the hardware limitations per HTC source.

Sense 6 software update package is of 667 MB in size. You may have to be sure that battery of the device is fully charged and a suitable source of data connection is available on your phone to complete the update successfully. It’s recommended to connect to a Wi-Fi network to avoid huge usage of your mobile data plan during the process of software update.
