Plenty of rumors have been circulating about Samsung’s upcoming big smartphone (phablet), the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Samsung had recently trademarked this name with the USPTO and it is rumored that the device will be launched by September this year. Case of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus has also been leaked recently along with that of Galaxy Note 5.
Now, the latest leak is from @Onleaks on Twitter who has shared photos of the dummy model of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus which is being used by the Chinese case-maker to make cases for the device. In the photos, the dummy model is kept alongside a Galaxy S6 Edge handset. Unfortunately, both the handsets are kept face down so it is hard to make out whether it is really the model of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus but it clearly appears to be bigger than the Galaxy S6 Edge.
Rumored dimensions of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus are around 154.45×75.80×6.85 mm, suggesting that the it may feature a 5.5-inch to 5.7-inch display, bigger that the 5.1-inch Galaxy S6 Edge. Other rumored specs include a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, a 16MP rear shooter and a 5MP front-facing one. It will be having a 3000mAh battery. The device will not feature S-Pen functionality.
