The original dual screen phone with e-ink screen was developed by Russian YotaDevices and the phone was named YotaPhone. Recently, it seems like the Chinese technology companies are trying to make a clone out of it. The two of the Chinese technology companies are Siswoo and UMi.
It seems like not many people know about these two companies, however, they have been making smartphone for years and the smartphones that they produced are pretty good if we take alook at the price that they offer.
As it turns out, it seems like Siswoo will be the first among the two companies which is going to release a phone which has a dual-screen setup which idea was seemed to be borrowed from YotaPhone. The phone will be known as Siswoo R9 Darkmoon. It is expected that Siswo R9 Darkmoon will be released before UMi Zero 2, the other dual-screen phone from UMi.
Siswoo R9 Darkmoon will come with two screens; the front screen is a 5-inch FHD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and 401ppi while the back screen is a 4.7-inch E-Ink with a resolution of 960 x 540. It will be powered by 64-bit OctaCore MediaTek MT6752 processor which clocked at 1.7GHz. The OS will be Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The good thing about this is that Siswoo R9 Darkmoon is expected to have a lower pricing compared to YotaPhone.
