Xolo launches the world’s lightest Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone

Windows Phone OS is turning out to be very popular these days as many handset manufacturers are releasing their devices on this platform. Making its global presence strong, now many Indian handset manufacturers are releasing their Windows Phone based handsets. This month, we spotted Micromax venturing into the Windows Phone platform releasing their Canvas smarphones and now XOLO seems to join this club.

XOLO has launched its new Win Q900s and the company claims it to the lightest smartphone powered with Windows Phone 8.1 weighing just a 100g. the device is very sleek measuring just 7.2mm of thickness. The XOLO Win Q900s comes with a 4.7inch IPS Display with One Glass Display Technology and having a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The device bakes a 1.2GHZ quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage along with an expandable storage facility up to 32GB through microSD cards. The XOLO Win Q900s is a dual SIM device. At the back lies a 8MP primary camera while the front has a 2MP secondary camera.

The device has a Li-Po battery offering a battery juice of 1800mAh. The XOLO Win Q900s will be available via online Indian retailer Snapdeal that is currently offering the device at a discounted price of Rs9999.
