Korean tech giant Samsung has been following a disciplinary routine when it comes to launching its flagship device. Earlier in the year at the MWC, the company announces its S series flagships and later at during September at the IFA it announces its Note series. With much rumors surrounding the upcoming Galaxy Note 4, it is now said that the premium flagship would arrive on September 3rd just before the commencement of IFA. The 2014 IFA event which is scheduled at Berlin from 5-10 September. The Korea Times has recently reported that the company is likely to make an announcement soon by sending the media invites.
Samsung seems to be gearing up with its plans as it might want to put its premium handset in the market ahead of the much touted Apple iPhone 6. Samsung Electro-Mechanics Chief Financial Officer Kwon Young-noh said “Samsung Note 4 will have far better specifications than the Galaxy S5 smartphone.”
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is tipped to host a 5.7inch display with 2560×1440 QHD pixel resolution and would come in two versions one of them having curved display. The device is also supposed to have a 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 805 SoC, a 16MP camera with OIS and ultraviolet sensor. The device is likely to have a all metal construction. In addition, an executive at Samsung’s software partner recently said that “The Note 4 will be the first smartphone to incorporate an ultraviolet sensor. The sensor can measure UV radiation and offer index levels to Note 4 users inside the ‘S Health’ application.” Needless to say, the device will host a 4G LTE connectivity options as well!
