LG Electronics yesterday made an official announcement for its mid-range variant of its recently launched flagship LG G3. The new LG G3 Beat comes with almost similar specs like that of its parent variant but comes in a compact package.
Looking to its specs, the new LG G3 Beat hosts a 5inch HD display with 1280×720 pixel resolution . At its heart lies a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with Cortex A7 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz. The device also has a Adreno 305 GPU for graphics support. Looking to its memory options, the LG G3 Beat comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and a additional microSD card slot for memory expansion. At the back of the device lies a 8MP camera with LED flash. An additional laser has also been incorporated on the back panel that measures the distance and speeds up the autofocus. The device comes with several connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, A-GPS with GLONASS and NFC.
The LG G3 Beat also supports 4G LTE offering download speeds up to 21Mbps. Its dimensions are pretty satisfactory with 10.3mm of thickness and 134 grams of weight. Software wise, there is at all no compromise and the LG G3 Beat comes with the latest available Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The battery is user-removable and the battery capacity of the device is 2540mAh. LG G3 Beat will make its debut today i.e. July 18 in its hometown of South Korea and its global roll-out will begin from Europe and CIS countries from the next week.
