Samsung has officially announced its Galaxy Gran Prime having model number SM-G530H which is the new affordable Android smartphone from the Korean giant. The major USP of the device is its 5MP secondary wide-angle front-facing camera and the company calls it to be the best suited camera to capture group selfies. The primary camera of the device measures 8MP camera with LED flash with a capability of 1080p video recording.
Other specs for the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime include a 5inch display with 540×960 pixel resolution, a powerful quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM memory and 8GB of internal memory with microSD card for expandable memory. The smartphone measures 8.6mm of thickness weighing just 156 grams. The battery capacity of the device is large to 2600mAh for more than a day-long operation.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime would be available in India costing around $250. The release in other countries of the world would be followed later this year.
