HTC releases 5 tutorial videos about its new Eye Experience software

While introducing its high-end selfie-centric smartphone HTC Desire EYE recently at its event last week, HTC had also unveiled a new Eye Experience software suite containing various new camera tools and apps. Some of the recent HTC phones will get this software as an update. In fact, HTC is already rolling out the Eye Experience software for HTC One M8 along with Android 4.4.4 update.

Well, HTC has now released a series of 5 tutorial videos on its YouTube channel detailing various features of the Eye Experience software and how to use them on the HTC smartphone.

The first video shows the Face Tracking and Screen Sharing feature that can be used during a video call. It shows a chef and some cooks involved in a video call. Face Tracking stabilizes the images of all the callers and arranges them in a grid. You learn how to share your phone screen with all those involved in the video call, using Screen Sharing.

The second video shows how the Split Capture feature can be used to capture videos using both the front and the rear cameras simultaneously to “show both sides of the story”, according to HTC.

In the third video, HTC shows two ways of taking selfie – Auto Selfie and Voice Selfie. Your phone will automatically take your picture when you smile or say “Cheese” or “Capture”. If you want to shoot a selfie video, the recording starts just by saying “Action”. The Auto Selfie and Voice Selfie features which have been introduced by HTC now, have already been introduced by some other companies earlier.

The fourth video is about the Live Makeup feature. You can adjust the smoothness of your skin before taking a selfie.

The fifth and last video is a little creepy. It shows the Face Fusion feature where you can merge your face with someone else’s to see how it would look like.
