Samsung announces its Galaxy Core Max with dual SIM and SUPER AMOLED display

Korean tech giant Samsung has recently announced its new Galaxy Core smartphone that is probably the eight handset in the Core series. This handset is called as the Samsung Galaxy Core Max having model number SM-G5108 and is said to be the largest handset from the Galaxy Core family. However, this not a flagship device from the Samsung Camp but falls in the mid-range segment of devices.


The handset has been officially introduced in China where the Galaxy Core Max sports a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display having 540×960 pixel resolution and runs the Android 4.4 KitKat topped up with TouchWiz UI. At its heart lies a quad-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM support and 8GB of expandable internal memory. The connectivity options even include LTE and also has a dual SIM support. The primary camera for the device is 8MP with wide-angle sensors and the secondary front-facing camera is 5MP. The device measures just 8mm in thickness weighing 132 grams and offers a battery capacity 2200mAh with availability in only one color option of white.


The company has yet not disclosed the pricing for the device and is likely to be announced in a short time soon.
