The latest news that we heard about Xiaomi is that there is a new handset in the making. This device is manufactured to go up against Meizu’s latest released product, MX4. The device is rumoured to be running on the same MT6595 SoC, the same chip found in MX4. The only difference is that the Xiaomi handset comes with larger memory size of 3GB of RAM, a larger size of 5.5-inch screen. Many speculated that this new Xiaomi most probably be the next Redmi Note Model.
Recently, there is also another leaks which comes as the picture of the back panel of the supposedly Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 but stating a different hardware specification. Therefore there might be two possibilities of this, either one of the rumors is wrong or there are two phones that are going to be released.
The latest update of the rumors is that the Redmi Note 2 will come with 5.5-inch screen size, 64-bit Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2 GB of RAM memory and 13 MP rear camera. The back panel will be measured at 6.26” x 3.23”. Looking at this size, Redmi Note 2 most probably will have the same size as iPhone 6 Plus , which is currently in the market.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is rumoured to be selling starting from $244.
