Huawei announced the new “Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition” earlier today in an event in Beijing,China. It is boasting to have a more processing power than its predecessor “Huawei Honor 6” which was released back in June 2014.
The device is running on Octa-core 2.0GHz Kirin 928 processor as the CPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It also supports a microSD slot which can be expanded up to 128GB storage. The 938 chips also supports LTE-A Cat 6 capabilities, delivering download speed up to 300Mbps if the number is also supported by the network.
The smartphone also comes with screen size of 5-inch and 1080p display resolution. It has two cameras, 13MP as the rear camera and 5MP as the front-facing camera. The device will have 3,100mAh battery size and it will come pre-installed with Android 4.4 KitKat.
The company also announced that the smartphone will offer a wide range of accessories, such as headphones, 0.2 mm tempered glass screen protector, 2 NFC tags and a limited edition “Road and force” protective shell as well as protective sleeve.
There is only less than 10,000 units manufactured for this model and it will retail for $489. People who are interested on the product, is able to make pre-orders starting on October 21.
