Hugo Barra, the VP of reported via a Facebook post that Xiaomi will have no cloud servers in China. The China mobile company is looking for establishing a new cloud server in US (Amazon’s AWSD data centers) and Singapore from Beijing.
The VP of Xiaomi is very much interested to get the rent on Amazon Web Services that allows rent data storage place to many international companies. Amazon has started its own cloud servers in 2006 to make a quick access to the data centers.
Providing the best experience of syncing and connectivity speed is the main aim to move the cloud server to US and Singapore. The people of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore have already enjoying the 30% boosted speed while India gets 200% boosted speed.
However, there was a rumor about the uploading personal data to the Chinese government servers to another region server. But the Xiaomi has denied anything like this rumor and believes the information will consider as a cloud sync system that will easily increase the info flow.
Xiaomi is supposing to spread the Asian markets by moving the cloud server to a good place. Therefore, the company is wishing to provide the best and speedy cloud service in western customers along with in Asia.
