Metal Samsung Galaxy Alpha may be unveiled in a month

The metal-body covered Samsung Galaxy F aka the Galaxy Alpha is back in news and this time it has appeared from the South Korean website ETnews.com. The article doesn’t however reveal much details but insiders from the industry claim that the much rumored Samsung Galaxy Alpha that is likely to boast some high-end specs could be unveiled next month on August 13. Well, it is believed the upcoming Alpha model will compete with Apple’s much rumored iPhone 6 and would come up with a leather faux covering over the metal clad. There have been previously quite a big number of rumors for the Galaxy Alpha and is you are a Samsung fan you can surely know it here.

Different reports have claimed different specifications for the device which puts it to sport either a 4.7inch or a 5.2inch or a 5.3 inch QHD display. However, most of the rumors have agreed upon that the device will surely come up with a Super AMOLED display resolution. Moreover, the device is likely to host very thin bezels on its sides. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is likely to host a Snapdragon 805 chipset at its heart. Well, with days to come, we hope things get clear soon.

Samsung Galaxy F spotted once again in a new image.

The Samsung Galaxy F is making much noise these days and has previously leaked several times. The Galaxy F is speculated as the next premium flagship from the Samsung camp along with the Galaxy Note 4. Online leakster @evleaks has released one more image for the device. The Galaxy F is supposed to be the first smartphone from Samsung hosting a metal body rather than plastic. Earlier images of the Galaxy F in glowing gold had been released by Evleaks showing up the gold border of the device.

The Samsung Galaxy is supposedly to host a full HD or Quad HD Display with powerful Snapdragon 805 SoC at heart and 16MP camera with a premium metal body finish. So if the metal finish of the Galaxy F turns out to be a real deal, Samsung could club it with its own polycarbonate and imitation textures like the faux-leather as seen in case of the LG G3.

More images of the Galaxy F appears in glowing gold

The Samsung Galaxy F is making several appearances through leaks before it would be officially unveiled. Previously, the device made an appearance on @evleaks in “Glowing Gold”  and now few more similar images of the device have came out from the same source.

This images convey that the Galaxy F is not identical to the Galaxy S5 that many had earlier speculated as the bezels are obviously smaller making this device more compact. Many previous leaks have already conveyed it earlier for the device to be offering a metal back plate, and a similar rear set up like that of the Galaxy S5 with a protruding camera and a heart rate monitor.

 

So far the rumors have claimed that the Galaxy F will be slightly larger than the Galaxy S5 with a 5.3inch display. Some have also claimed that the device will have a Quad HD resolution while others think it to be having full HD 1080p resolution only.

Well, one of the leaksters have claimed the device to be having a Snapdragon 805 SoC with a 16MP camera shooter at its back along with a Samsung made sensor. With so much info spreading out, we think Samsung will soon officially voice the Galaxy F.

“Glowing Gold” version of the rumored Samsung Galaxy F spotted on @evleaks

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime aka the Samsung Galaxy f has been quite in new these days and the device has once again made an appearance on @evleaks showing a new render of it.

The handset has been spotted in a new image that shows the Galaxy F to be in a “glowing gold” version. However, if observed carefully, we can see a September 12 date on its homescreen that might be the possible date of release for the device. However, nothing is said by the company regarding its launch and this is just the prediction from our end.

The Samsung Galaxy F is considered to have a strong metal body unlike the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A launched recently. However, other features of the Galaxy F will be line with the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A that includes a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, Quad HD Display measuring 5.3inches.

However, Samsung has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A is specifically launched for the Korean markets and so its can be strongly considered that the Galaxy F will surely be launched in the international markets.

Metal bodied Samsung Galaxy F is becoming a slowly becoming a reality. These days, more leaks giving the information about the handset are popping out. The new leak shows the photo of Galaxy F sitting beside Galaxy S5. The photo shows the new device quite clearly but not much can be said about its display from the picture. As it is rumored that Galaxy F could showcase 2K display.

But from the leak it is clear that it is a new device as it displays a diffirent wallpaper. As Samsung has a habit of having new wallpapers for new devices. Galaxy F was earlier referred to as Galaxy S5 Prime. The leak also confirms that Galaxy F has a metal body. But this is not the first metal body phone from Samsung as it already has Galaxy J in South Korean market. The phone is expected to be launched in July. So it will be in a direct completion with LG G3.

According to @evleaks Galaxy F is to be powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB RAM. It is expected to be packing a 5.3 inch QHD (1440×2560) display and a 16 MP rear camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). As mentioned earlier the device will have a very slim metal bezel. It is rumored that Samsung plans to go one step ahead by making this device dust and water proof.
