Few days back, there was news of the Taiwan based chipset giant MediaTek planning to enter the US markets and now the company has went out announcing its new 64-bit octa-core chipset the MT6753 with independent eight-core CPU based on ARM’s Cortex A-53 architecture.
The great thing is that this new chi[set from the company comes with a complete connectivity suite and can be used for the around the world networks. The list of connectivity options include some supported networks like FDD LTE Cat 4 offering data speeds of 150Mbps, TD-LTE, TD-SCDMA, HSPA+ and EDGE. Moreover, this new chipset is also available with CDMA2000 1x / EVDO Rev. A radio frequencies. The good thing is that the chipset also works with Bluetooth 4.0, Miracast and dual-band Wi-Fi.
Additionally, the chipset can also support resolution of 1080×1920 pixels at 60fps. It can also enable video playback chip H.264 1080p with 30fps and even H.265 consuming less power. It can drive a camera with a resolution up to 16MP. The company is expecting to release the chipset by the end of second quarter.
