Recent Samsung design patent shows a possible Galaxy K Zoom successor

The Zoom series of smartphones from Samsung have been aimed to put a powerful point-and-shoot camera machine in smartphone handsets. Last year Samsung announced its Galaxy K Zoom which had a 4.8” AMOLED display baked with a hexa-core Exynos chipset with 2GB of RAM memory. The device boasts a powerful 20.7MP camera with xenon flash having a ½.3” sensor and 10x optical zoom and a lot many photography features.

Now the recent report shows that a new camera centric handset successor to the Galaxy K Zoom is likely to arrive soon. This can be derived from the new design patent images released by the country. Samsung has recently acquired these patents from USPTO. The images show a ignoramus snapper to its back as seen in an mid-range point-and-shoot camera.

The patent images doesn’t talk about position of flash here but a round cut-out seen on the camera module might be an probable place for it. At the moment, nothing can be said with surety that whether such a device is in making or not! Take a look at the design images below.
