Sony E2003/E2033 is the New Mid-Range Smartphone with 64-Bit Chipset

GFX Bench has disclosed the existence of a new mid-range smartphone that Sony is currently working on. This new phone is Sony E2003/E2033 which looks like a new version of Xperia E3. It has a 64-bit MediaTek chipset, and a display of 4.6 inches qHD screen having a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.E2003
Features

The chipset of Sony E2003/E2033 is MT6752 with four Cortext-A53 cores having a speed of 1.5GHz. It has a Mali-T760 GPU and a RAM of 1GB. The total storage of the device is 8GB leaving about 5GB of storage available to the user. The smartphone has Sony’s usual skin, and it runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat.


 
Cameras

Sony E2003/E2033 has two cameras; one on the front, and second on the rare. The front-facing camera is a 2MP camera that can go up to the surprising video resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. The main camera on the back is a 5MP camera that can shoot 1080p video. However, this is a single-SIM smartphone. The chipset supports LTE which the benchmark cannot detect at all.


 
Sony E2003/E2033 unveiling

Sony has all the plans to participate in the MWC (Mobile World Congress) event on 02 March 2015. However, it is not confirmed whether Sony will display the Xperia Z4 or not. It is estimated that Sony is surely going to display E2003/E2033 mid-range smartphone in the show if Xperia Z4 is not displayed.


 
Comparison with Xperia E4

Sony E2003/E2033 is very much like that of Sony Xperia E4. However, there is a minor difference between the two phones. Xperia E4 has a screen of about 5 inches, and it has a processor of 32-bit that is based on Cortex-A7. Sony Xperia E4 has a model number of E2015, and it was previewed months before official unveiling; that was back in December 2014.
