Earlier this month, Chinese handset maker Gionee had come up with a word that the company is bringing the most slimmest handset called as the Gionee Elife S7 in the month of March. Now the company has sent an invite poster that shows that it would officially launch the handset on the 2nd March. Back in October 2014, Gionee started the trend of coming with slim handsets and had registered the Guinness World Record then for its Elife S5.1 having 5.1mm of thickness. However, later local competitor Chinese surpassed it with even more slim handsets the Oppo R5 and Vivo X5 Max.
Now few images that claim to be of Elife S7 and it has nothing to do with its name, meaning its not having a 7mm thickness. The handset is said to have just a mere 0.181 inch thick profile having 4.6mm of thickness. This means that now it would leave back Oppo R5 having 0.191 inches and Vivo X5 Max having 0.189 inches of thickness. Just the images cannot be enough proof to claim for the measurement but we will wait for the official launch of the device next month. Take a look at the leaked images below.
