Taiwan based handset maker Asus has recently announced its new FonePad 7 having model number FE375CL that comes with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with Material Design on board.
Design wise and look wise, the new Asus FonePad 7 look very similar to the previous version with model number FE170CG, but comes with some more improvements in its specs. The new Asus FonePad 7 packs a 7-inch IPS display having resolution of 1200×800 pixels and is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3530 chipset having clock speeds of 1.3GHz. The device now has got micro SIM card slots and allows users to make voice calls in addition to 3G connectivity, LTE and much more. To its back lies a 5MP primary camera while its front hosts a 2MP secondary camera. The memory options for the device include a 2GB of RAM memory, 16 GB of internal storage and additional 5GB of cloud storage space along with a microSD card slot for expandable memory.
Looking to its dimensions, the new Asus FonePad 7 is 9.8mm thick and weighs just 299 grams. The battery is sufficient enough to provide 12 hours of seamless usage. For the moment, the tablet is to be launched in Taiwan with a price of just $250 and there is no word whether Asus would make a global release or not.
