Korean giant Samsung officially presents its first J series handset, Galaxy J1

In addition to the premium A series handsets announced by Samsung, that arrived with metallic finish, Samsung is now unveiling handsets under the new E and J series. The first handset for the J series has been now officially announced by Samsung namely the Samsung Galaxy J1. The Galaxy J1 having model number SM-J100H has been officially presented on the company’s Malaysian website and hence, it might be the first country to receive the handset. The Galaxy J1 has been powered with 1.2GHz dual-core processor.


Looking to its other specs, the handset hosts a 4.3inch WVGA display having 480×800 pixel resolution and supports dual-SIM facility. To its back it has got a 5MP primary snapper while its front has a 2MP secondary snapper. The handset has a 512MB of RAM memory and 4GB of internal storage with provision of expandable memory via microSD card slot. The handset weighs just 122 grams and has a 8.9mm of thickness. The battery back-up is good with 1850mAh removable battery offering considerable 10 hours of usage. Moreover, there is also an facility for the Ultra Power Saving mode. The handset is available in three different color options of black, white and blue.
