Although we have had plenty of leaks about the Samsung Galaxy A7 till date, nothing concrete had come from the company about its release. According to a latest leak, three Sony new smartphones will soon be released in South Korea – Samsung Galaxy A7, Samsung Galaxy Grand Max and Samsung Galaxy A5.
Details about the three phones have appeared in a magazine in South Korea giving full details about the devices. While Galaxy A5 has already been officially unveiled by the company, and we have heard a lot about the Galaxy A7 till now, this is the first time we are hearing about Galaxy Grand Max.
Let’s have a look at the specifications of the two yet-to-be-launched devices leaked through the magazine:
Samsung Galaxy A7
The Galaxy A7 will probably arrive in three flavors – SM-A700S, SM-A700K, and SM-A700L. Specs revealed in the magazine include a 5.2-inch 1080p Full HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.5GHz octa-core processor (might be Qualcomm Snapdragon 615), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card and a 2,500mAh battery.
Its cameras include 13MP a primary rear camera and a 5MP front-facing cam. Connectivity options include LTE, VoLTE, DMB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and the handset will run Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The Galaxy A7 will be only 6.3mm in thickness and will weigh 140 grams.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Max
This smartphone too has a 5.2-inch screen but it will have a 720p HD TFT LCD display. Other specs include 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card, a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP selfie camera and a 2,500mAh battery. This handset too will have Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box, and will offer LTE and DMB support. Galaxy Grand Max will have a thickness of 7.9mm.
We can see that the Galaxy A7 is a mid-range phone while the Galaxy Max is a budget phone. These two smartphones along with Galaxy A5 are slated to be released in South Korea soon.
