Huawei’s mid-range smartphone Honor 4X goes for sale in China at very affordable price

The major announcement coming from the Chinese handset maker Huawei is of course its dual camera smartphone Honor 6 Plus, another mid-range handset with reasonably good specs has also been unveiled by the company. The Huawei Honor 4X that previously paid its visit to FCC has today gone official.


Looking to its specs, the Huawei Honor 4X comes with a 5.5inch display having 720p resolution and is powered with the company’s recently announced 64-bit chipset the octa-core Kirin 620 processor. The device comes in two RAM memory options of 1GB and 2GB. To its back lies a powerful 13MP camera while its front hosts a 5MP selfie camera. The device runs the Android 4.4 KitKat skinned with the company’s own Emotion UI. The handset offers a substantial battery backup of 3000mAh.

With all these pretty good specs onboard the pricing of the device is unbelievably cheap. The 2GB RAM version of the device is priced at $161 while its 1GB version is priced for $128. The device would be sold from December 23rd in three color options of white, gold and black. However, we have yet to receive any word regarding the international roll-out for the device.
