In addition releasing its “Stream” range of affordable Windows tablets, computing tech giant HP has now announced its new affordable Windows Tablets the Stream 11 and Stream 13. These tablets have been launched to compete with Chromebooks for its pricing still packing a powerful hardware alongwith.
Both the Stream 11 and the Stream 13 host similar specifications with the first having a 11.6inch display and the latter with a 13.6 inch display with 1366×768 pixel resolution. There is also an optional touchscreen variant for the HP Stream 13. Both these notebooks are powered with a 2.16GHz quad-core Intel Celeron processors, with a 2GB of RAM memory and 32GB of flash storage. The connectivity features for the device are pretty good that includes a USB 3.0, USB 2.0, SD card and HDMI. The Stream 13 offers 9 hours of battery usage while the Stream 11 offers 11 hours of battery usage.
The goodies that come along with these notebooks include 1TB of free storage for a year on Microsoft OneDrive ten times more than the 100GB of free storage offered on Chromebooks. Microsoft Office 365 would also be available for free with these Windows notebooks. Additional offer includes a $25 Microsoft Store Gift card in the box itself. The Stream 13 will come with 4G connectivity where the company would offer a 200MB worth free data every month for lifetime in US.
The HP Stream 11 and the Stream 13 would be available from November in multiple color variants for a price of $199.99 and $299.99 respectively.
