BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 with BlackBerry 10.3 and BlackBerry Assistant goes official

Yesterday BlackBerry announced its latest Porsche Design P’9983. Few days back the company went out announcing its BlackBerry Passport that has some very premium specs. However, the BlackBerry Porsche Design is believed to break the ice and is powered with the latest BlackBerry 10.3. The handset comes with a 3.1inch Super AMOLED display having 720×720 pixel resolution. The handset is powered with a dual-core 1.2GHZ Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 processor, a 2GB of RAM support, 64GB of built-in storage and 128GB of microSD card slot support. At is back lies a powerful 8MP primary snapper while the front hosts a 2MP secondary snapper. The connectivity options for the device include NFC and Bluetooth. The handset comes with a battery capacity of 2100mAh.


This new BlackBerry handset comes with it newly released BlackBerry Assistant that is similar application to Windows Cortana and serves as a personal assistant helping you to respond to your texts and emails, schedule a meeting, get directions and much more. This personal assistant will respond to users based on their location. Users of this latest Porsche Design handset would get a special PIN number. However, if you are looking for this device in the near future, make sure your pockets are filled up with a whopping $2000.


The BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 comes with QWERTY keypad that is equipped with auto-correction also suggesting the next word of type. Through BBM Video, members of the messaging apps allows you to video chat and the BlackBerry Natural Sound technology boosts BBM Voice sound to very great levels. The icing on the cake is the BlackBerry 10 Browser allowing pages to render quickly.
