Best Buy accidentally reveals Moto 360 smartwatch price tag,specs

Best Buy updated its website last weekend with details about Motorola’s unreleased Moto 360 smartwatch, despite the company’s efforts to keep the specs quiet ahead of its launch.


The smartwatch is expected to introduce next month at a Motorola press event on September 4. A leaked Best Buy product catalog shows that the most anticipated gadget will cost $249.99 when it hits the shelves.


Best Buy removed the page from its website by Monday morning, one day after the details first became visible on BestBuy.com. A Best Buy spokesperson confirmed media that the listing was accidentally made public and was taken down once the mistake was noticed.


Expectedly, the listing shows the Moto 360 as “coming soon.”  The leaked price tag falls right in line with a past reports, which suggested that the smartwatch would certainly be priced at $249.


Additionally, the Best Buy listing reveals info about the specs of the Moto 360. They include Texas Instruments processor, 1.5” LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 290 pixels and Gorilla Glass 3. It also features built-in heart rate monitor, and built-in pedometer, all inserted into a waterproof stainless steel body with plastic case back.
