Samsung has announced its new NX Mini Smart Camera in India and has been launched on Amazon website. According to the company, this is the world’s lightest and slimmest camera with interchangeable lens. The device was announced back in March and comes with a powerful 20.5MP BSI_CMOS sensor for low light images and better photographic results. Along with the camera, Samsung has also announced its NX-M 9mm F3.5 ED lens and the NX-M9-27mm F3.5-5.6 ED OIS lens.
The new Samsung NX Mini is 22.5mm thick weighing just 196 grams. The camera comes up with a 3inch LCD Flip up Touch Panel display that flips by 180 degrees specifically for taking selfies. However, because of slimmer and compact design, the camera still misses on the view finder. Other features for the camera include a HDMI 1.3a, 1080p full HD recording at 30fps, Advanced Passive NFC, Wink Shot, 6fps continuous shot mode, Wi-Fi, Group Share, Auto Backup, Photo Beam and many other features. The camera comes with a better 2330mAh of battery backup.
On the launch, Vice President of Samsung India Asim Warsi said “This shift in our strategy is created to meet the needs of our customers who are constantly looking for the best in technology. We understand the buying patterns of our consumers and are constantly strengthening our network to cater to their evolving needs. This offering through Amazon.in will enhance accessibility for the NX mini camera.”
The NX Mini camera from Samsung is priced for Rs 22,990 along with a 9mm lens and 16GB of memory card. If you get it with the 9-27mm lens, it will cost for 27,490. The company as a part of the launch offer is currently offering the Samsung Backpack for free which is worth Rs1,999.
