Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei, had earlier hinted with its press invite of launching a phone at the IFA. One more press invite coming from the company shows that it is all set to launch its Ascend Mate 7. Reports show that the Ascend Mate 7 scheduled for Sept 4th launch will host a fingerprint scanner. In addition to a fingerprint scanner, the handset is also expected to have a metal back. The latest press invite doesn’t give much information except a fingerprint suggesting the feature along with the words “Touch” and “Feel”.
It seems that the company is all set to venture into high-end smartphone market. The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 comes in two different models of which one is a 6inch model with 1440×2560 pixel resolution while the other has the same screen size with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The first model with higher resolution is expected to have 3GB of RAM in QHD version while the other will have 2GB of RAM in FHD version and both of them would have the company’s own Kirin 920 octa-core processor. The handset will have a 13MP primary camera on its back while its front will host a 5MP secondary camera.
The connectivity options for the device include Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, LTE and Wi-Fi. The device comes with a Dual SIM Dual Standby support and will run the latest available Android 4.4KitKat topped with Huawei’s Emotion UI.
