FCC certification
During the last couple of weeks, there were several rumors about Samsung Galaxy Mega 2. However, no actual information about this phablet was available because no one had physically seen it. The good news is that Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 has passed the FCC Certification. This one step has made available the information about the connectivity bands and dimensions of this device.
Dimensions
What is really surprising is that the size of this device is quite smaller than the size of Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. However, it is bigger than Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 which means there was some reality in the rumors about this device it will be 5.9 inches in size. 164.4 x 85mm is the actual measurement of this device.
Rumored features
Earlier there were some other rumors about this device too. It was speculated that this device will be having a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset which will be including a 306 PGU. Furthermore, it was heard that it will have a 2GB RAM and an internal storage of 8GB. About the display, some people claimed that it is going to be close to 720p that is one step up from the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8. As far as the camera is concerned, it was heard that the device will have a rear/front camera combo of 12MP/4.7MP, and both of these cameras will be able to make video recording of 1080p. The Android 4.4.3 KitKat software is expected run on Samsung Galaxy Mega 2.

In the coming days, Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 will be seen at any day because it has already passed the FCC certification.
