As the launch date of Apple’s iPhone 6 draws closer, we have another leak regarding its batteries. Rumors and leaks about the iPhone batteries have been circulating since a few months now. According to earlier rumors, the 4.7-inch model was expected to pack a 1,800mAh to 1,900mAh battery, while the bigger version with a larger 5.5-inch display called the iPhone 6L was supposed to carry a 2,500mAh battery.
Now the Asian rumor site appledaily.com has posted some photos of both the models of Apple’s next gen smartphone, the iPhone 6 as also their batteries. If the photos are to be believed, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 version will have a 1,810mAh battery which is bigger that the 1560mAh capacity battery of Apple iPhone 5s but slightly smaller than the 1,860mAh battery of its would-be rival, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
The larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6L has a bigger 2,915mAh capacity battery and we have a couple of images of those too.
In the following picture, both the 4.7-inch and the 5.5-inch models are kept next to each other. There is not much of a difference in their sizes but the bigger version (the one with the purple front panel) has thinner bezels to accommodate the larger screen .
Both variants of the iPhone 6 are expected to be officially launched on 9 September.
