Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 officially unveiled with 3G and LTE Variants

Samsung has expanded its Galaxy line up and launched four new models in its various Galaxy smartphone series. Among the new entrants is the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4, successor to the Galaxy Ace 3 in Samsung’s most successful line of affordable phones. The other new smartphones are successors to its Core, Young and Star series.


All the new models feature Samsung’s simplified TouchWiz Essence UI, run the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat and fall in the mid- and low-range categories.


Samsung Galaxy Ace 4


Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 is a single SIM handset available in two variants, 3G and LTE. It has the same 4-inch WVGA TFT 480 x 800p display like the Galaxy Ace 3, a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera. Both the Ace 4 versions have 4GB internal memory expandable up to 64GB with microSD card.


Both 3G and LTE versions have Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi b/g/n, GPS (A-GPS + GLONASS) and Micro-USB connectivity options and are available in Iris Charcoal and Classic White colours


However, apart from the obvious network connectivity difference, both the models have certain other variations in features:


The Galaxy Ace 4 3G comes with 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and a 1500mAh battery. The Ace 4 LTE variant features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and packs a larger 1800mAh battery.


There is a slight variation in dimensions of both the devices. The Galaxy Ace 4 LTE in somewhat thicker and heavier with dimensions of 121.4×62.9x11mm and weight of 130.3 grams while the 3G variant has dimensions of 121.4×62.9×10.8mm and weighs 123.8 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 is reportedly going to be available from next month. However, the price has not yet been declared by Samsung. We’ll keep you updated regarding any further developments.
