Samsung Galaxy Tab S 2 9.7 specs (SM-T815) leak on GFXBench

To get you something different from the Samsung camp apart from the Galaxy S6, we have now got the leaked specs for the much rumored Samsung Galaxy Tab S 2 9.7 inch (SM-T815) on GFXBench.

The specs show the device to be probably having a 9.6” display which is most likely the Super AMOLED display from Samsung. The device is said to have a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. The device will have a baked in octa-core Exynos 5 Octa chipset having four super performing Cortex A57 cores and four power saving Cortex A53 cores. The graphics would be handled by a hexa-core Mali T760 GPU chip. The memory options include a 3GB of RAM memory and 32GB of internal storage. To its back would be a 8MP camera capable of 1080p video recording but still the camera flash seems to be missing. The front side would sport a 2MP secondary camera. The tablet would be running the Android 5.0.2 Android Lollipop. The tablet is said to be coming in both versions of Wi-Fi and data enabled.

Lumia 1330 (RM-1062) pays a visit to GFXBench, 14MP rear camera and other specs confirmed

A few days back, there were rumors about a successor to Nokia Lumia 1320, the Lumia 1330, and it was supposed to have a big bump in the camera department along with upgradation in other specs . The rear camera supposed to go from 5MP to 14MP, while the front-facing camera from 1.2MP to 5MP.

Later, there were reports that two variants of Lumia 1320 successor – single SIM handset RM-1066 and dual SIM handset RM-1067- were spotted at the FCC. Now we find that Lumia 1320 successor (which might be named as Lumia 1330 or not) Model RM-1062, has been benchmarked at GFXBench.

The GFX Benchmark listing reveals specifications about the upcoming Lumia 1330. It is a phablet with a 5.7-inch 1280 x 720p display powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (ARMv7) chipset and Adreno 305 GPU for graphics. For memory, the device will have 1GB of RAM (the screenshot shows the available memory which is 0.38GB) and 32GB of internal storage. As already mentioned, there is a 14MP shooter (4176 x 3120 resolution) at the rear and a 5MP selfie cam at the front.

Since the Lumia 1330 has passed through both GFXBench and FCC, its unveiling doesn’t seem far away. FCC certification had revealed that the phablet will have a new back cover and wireless charging. Model nos. RM-1062, RM-1063, RM-1064, RM-1065 of the Lumia 1330 have been earlier found in Adduplex database.

Meizu k52 spotted at GFXBench, has 64-bit MediaTek SoC with LTE support

It’s only been a couple of weeks since the release of Meizu MV4 Pro and already we are seeing another Meizu smartphone popping up in the database of GFXBench. There have been many rumors about a new 1000 Yuan Meizu phone (around US$162) in the works but there hasn’t been any official confirmation about it from the company. It is speculated that the new Meizu k52 getting benchmarked at the GFXBench might be that phone.

Specs of Meizu k52 indicate that it is powered by a MediaTek MT6752 64-bit octa-core SoC (Cortex A53 – ARMv7) clocked at 1.7GHz and an ARM Mali-T760 GPU. The SoC on board here is not as powerful as the MT6595 SoC of Meizu MX4, but it has 64-bit and provides faster LTE connectivity.

The handset sports a 4.6-inch (1920 x 1080 p) FHD display, 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat. However, the GFXBench data is not the final one and there may be changes in the specs at a later stage. There is no information yet about the rear and front cameras this device is going to sport.

We have Two 3D graphics benchmarks as Manhattan and T-Rex tests have been performed for Meizu k52. The results of the tests are quite close to those of Oppo U3 but far below those of Meizu MX4 and Meizu MX4 Pro smartphones but this can be expected for a smartphone priced as low as 100 Yuan.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 specs revealed via GFXBench

GFXBench has just revealed the specs of Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 which shows some of the hardware features for the device. According to the benchmark listing, the Samsung galaxy Mega 2 will host a 5.9inch display and a quad-core SoC baked at it heart. Moreover, rumors have conveyed that Samsung will not keep the 6.3 inch display of the Galaxy Mega and will have just one product. GFXBench says that the Mega 2 would have a 720p display with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Its back will host a 12 megapixel camera while the front will have a 5MP camera. The device is expected to run the last Jelly Bean version Android 4.4.3.

The Galaxy Mega 2 could not be considered as an high-end smartphone but will certainly cater to larger masses. Last year’s Galaxy Mega was also quite successful and the Korean giant plans to very much keep it the same way going this time too. There are no news as such for the launch of the handset, but since an year is over from the launch of Galaxy Mega we believe that the successor would be on its way and could be announced anytime soon.
