Samsung has set up plans to continue its legacy of Mega series which had two models from last year, which were the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.a .This time; they have decided to promote this new Mega series gadget with name, Galaxy Mega 2. The new update in this news is about the looks and design of this device. As the updates available from the database of China’s Telecommunications Equipment Certification Center, the new images are available for Samsung fans out there.
The Mega 2 will be coming up with the model number SM-G7508Q, and will be supporting TD-LTE standard of the country hence it leads us to the inference of getting launched in China as early as possible. Still, we can presume the international version of the gadget will resemble to the SM-G7508Q.
As reported earlier, the Mega series successor was supposed to feature a 5.9-inch display. But as the latest update goes, its display-screen is a 5.98-inch one (featuring 720 x 1280 pixels), which will make Samsung certainly advertise the phone as a 6-inch one. We can definitely expect from the handset, as its name Galaxy Mega 2 suggests, to be large in size ,measuring 163.6 x 84.9 x 8.6 mm.
The Mega 2 will sport a 64-bit capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Moreover, it will be having Android 4.4 KitKat, and a camera support of 5 MP in the front, a 13 MP in the rear with flash, 2 GB of RAM, and microSD card supported with 8 GB of in-built ROM.
Previous month’s visit of FCC of Galaxy Mega 2 SM-G750A makes us extrapolate plan of Samsung to promote the monster smart-phone in the US on the same time-line.
