Samsung has launched a new Galaxy Tab recently, Samsung Galaxy Tab E9.6. It comes with two variant, Samsung SM-T560 and Samsung SM-T561. SM-T560 comes with Wi-Fi only connectivity while SM-T561 comes with 3G connectivity.
Some of you might be wondering why the name is E9.6? The naming does not follow the convention that Samsung normally used. It is because the new Tab comes with a 9.6 inch screen display. The tablet is said to have Samsung’s new 4:3 aspect ratio with a resolution of 1280 x 800.
The tablet will be running on a quad-core 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC7730SE SoC processor, 1.5GB RAM and a 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 128GB by using the MicroSD card. There will be two camera found on the tab, the front camera is a 5MP while the back camera is 2MP. The battery size will be of 5000mAh. Overall, the table will be measured at 8.5mm thick.
On the software side, Tab E9.6 will be pre-installed with Android 4.4 and Office. There will be Kids Mode and multi window feature as well as a bunch of Samsung’s usual apps. Samsung Galaxy Tab E9.6 is available in a few colors and the back cover is a non-slip “Fabric Style” patterned style.
Samsung Galaxy Tab E9.6 will be released in Asia and Eastern Europe with pricing starting from $203 for SM-T560 and $226 for SM-T561.
