According to the latest reports coming from Bloomberg, Apple is likely to be sure of bringing its latest tech – Force Touch which featured in the Apple Watch into upcoming iPhone models for 2015. Previous leaks have also suggested this inclusion of feature, but the latest reports also claims that the company has also started the mass production for the same. The Force Touch technology id basically designed to determine different pressure levels that would execute different functions. This means that it basically the differentiation of a touch from a tap.
The reports says that the iPhone 6s which is expected to be announced later this year is likely to host this feature. Force Touch on the small display of Apple Watch, makes use of a pressure sensor that adds new input dimension to the device. It has to be seen that how this feature works for larger screen iPhones. Moreover, the company is also said to be working on pressure-sensitive displays for more than two years.
Apart from the major change of this Force Touch tech, the iPhone 6s is likely to host mostly the same features of the existing iPhone 6. Moreover, the source also claims that the mass production of the iPhone 6s with this built-in tech is likely to start as soon as next month. The report also mentions that the production schedule could also be impacted by the yield of Fore Touch displays.
