Images alleged to be those of the upcoming Sony Lavender smartphone have leaked online. They show the front panel of the device having a bezel-less display. These images are in line with the render of the handset leaked earlier. Details about Sony Lavender’s specs were also leaked last week.
The unannounced Sony Lavender is supposed to be a mid- to upper-range selfie-centric device boasting of a 13MP front-facing camera with Sony’s IMX214 Exmor sensor and LED flash. It will also have a 13MP rear camera with LED flash.
The handset will apparently have an FHD display bigger than 5.5-inches and its resolution would be 1080 x 1920 pixels. It will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752 CPU clocked at 1.7GHz and a Mali-T760 GPU for graphics. The device will have a 2GB RAM inside and will come with Android 5.0 pre-installed. It will also have a dual SIM version.
A report by French website Nowhereelse says that the upcoming Sony Lavender is under full-fledged production and the first batch will be out by June. So the official unveiling of the device by the company is “imminent”.
We will keep you informed about any new developments in the matter.
