Well, there have been previous reports about Samsung coming up with a razor sharp 4K display in its upcoming flagship the Galaxy Note 5. However, latest rumors shows that the 4K display model would just be an engineering prototype which is tested along with another optional 2K display. What seems to be likely is that the company will have a 2K display as Samsung has to make sure enough supply for the 4K Super AMOLED displays of the handset.
Moreover, some information regarding the Project Noble relating to the Galaxy Note 5 production has also appeared such that the handset is currently being tested with an Exynos chipset. This chipset would be hosting the CPU, RAM, graphic processor, homebrew LTE modem, internal storage all just within a single package. For this Samsung is said to be using a unique ePoP (a package embedded on another). This integration of all-in one processing would thereby provide more space utilization for other things like battery.
The Galaxy Note 5 Edge version with flexible display has been codenamed as “Project Zen” and is said to be completely different phone. The insiders have tipped that Samsung would be using wither a 5.4” or a 5.5” Super AMOLED display with curved edges on both sides, just like the Galaxy S6 Edge.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Edge is likely to have a 16MP primary camera with OIS and a 8MP secondary camera on-board. The handset would be using a S Pen Stylus mostly seen with the Note series handsets. A surprising this is that the handset is said to be using a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset instead of its own home-baked Exynoss 7422.
