Sharp has announced its new AQUOS Crystal 2, a water-resistant handset that comes with a bezel-less display. The handset is currently available of Sprint and Boost Mobile.
The Sharp AQUOS Crystal 2 comes with a 5.2inch display and comes baked with a Snapdragon 400 SoC which is a quad-core chipset clocked at 1.2GHz. the graphic controls are handled by the Andreno 306 GPU. The device has got a 2GB of RAM memory in addition to the 16GB of non-expandable storage. To its back, the device has a 8MP primary camera and to its front is the 2MP secondary camera. The handset comes with pretty good connectivity options like 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC.
The handset will be available in three different color options of turquoise, pink and black and would be available by the end of July in Japan. The device has got and excellent bezel-less display and is also water and dust resistant. It measures 11mm of thickness and weighs just 154 grams.
