Xiaomi Redmi 1S successor, a 64-bit handset passes through AnTuTu and TENNA

Xiaomi has been staying much in news for multiple reason like raising of funds, of its next flagship Xiaomi Mi5 and now it is the successor of the Redmi 1S that is said to pass through AnTuTu revealing some of its specs. The AnTuTu benchmark who is famous for welcoming the device to its database before its official launch, has spotted a new Xiaomi device with codename HM2014811.

This purported Xiaomi Redmi 1S successor is said to have a 4.7inch display having a 1280×720 pixel resolution with 312 ppi density. The device is supposed to have a quad-core LTE enable Snapdragon 410 chipset supported with Adreno 306 GPU along with 1GB of RAM memory. The chipset is said to be Qualcomm’s 64-bit chipset having four Cortex A53 cores each of which is clocked at 1.2GHz.To its back is said to be an 8MP primary camera and the front is having a 2MP secondary camera. The device runs the Android 4.4.4 KitKat on-board. Dimension wise the device is said to be measuring 9.2mm of thickness and 8GB of internal expandable storage. The battery life and pricing of the device still remains a suspense.

The device has also currently been spotted at the Chinese telecom registration office TENNA images of which are attached below. We sould be eagerly waiting for this new handset from the Apple of China.

Xiaomi Revealed new 4.7-inch smartphone

The new smartphone Redmi 1S has revealed as a semi-international variant by Xiaomi. Both of the variants have good sales rate after reaching in the market. Xiaomi may have good successor with these new smartphones.

China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center has approved a new smartphone of Xiaomi that is supposed to be Redmi 1S. However, the source has not confirmed anything about the smartphone while some capacitive keys needed to be redesigned.

However, the newly approved smartphone of Xiaomi is just 132 grams in weight and dimensions are 134 x 67.21 x 9.2 mm while the Redmi 1S dimensions are 137 x 69 x 9.9 mm with 158 gram weight.


The smartphone features 720 x 1280 pixels resolution on its 4.7 inch display with 8 mega pixels rear camera and 2 mega pixels front facing camera. Moreover, Android 4.4.4 KitKat will run the smartphone that is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of, and 8 GB internal memory.

Xiaomi has not provide huge upgrade than Redmi 1S but still, the smartphone will have noticeable Android KitKat and LTE connectivity. Moreover, the Xiaomi smartphone will be available in different colors including purple, blue, yellow, red, black, orange and white.

Well, Xiaomi is certainly not new to us and we all know this famous smartphone maker from China. On the other hand, the Redmi 1S sports a 4.7inch IPS display with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.6GHz and a Adreno 305 GPU. Taking a look at the third device, the Redmi Note comes with a 5.5inch IPS display powered with a stunning octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked at 1.7GHz and a Mali-450 GPU support. The memory options for the device include 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with microSD card slot, 13MP of primary camera having 1080p video recording, 5MP of secondary camera. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. This device too runs the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with MiUI and offers a battery capacity of 3100mAh.
