Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with Exynos 5433 scores higher than Snapdragon 805 in AnTuTu benchmark

Two different variants of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 have been spotted at the AnTuTu benchmarks. The two variants are powered by different processors, one with Samsung’s own Octa-core 64-bit Exynos 5433 processor and the other with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset.

AnTuTu has posted benchmark scores for both the variants. As such, the Snapdragon chipset has always been faster than the Samsung processor. However, this time it is the other way round. Although the new Snapdragon 805 is faster than the current Snapdragon 801 version, benchmark scores reveal that Samsung’s own Exynos 5433 is even faster.

In the chart above, we can see that Samsung Exynos 5433 breaks through the 40K mark and scores 40303 which is much higher than the 37780 scored by Snapdragon 805. NVDIA Tegra K1 is of course the fastest, but that can be attributed to the fact that it was tested on device with 1920×1080 resolution display while the Exynos 5433 was tested on a mobile with a display of 2560×1440 resolution.

If we look at the breakdown chart, the scores for both Exynos 5433 (N910C) and Snapdragon 805 (N910S) chipsets indicate that the Exynos 5433 is superior in almost all aspects.

AnTuTu benchmark lists that both the variants of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 would have a 2560 x 1440 QHD display, 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and a 16MP rear camera. A leak last week had revealed that the Snapdragon 805 version will be available for sale in North America, South Korea, China, and Japan, while the other Exynos 5433 version will be available in Europe.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 Specs Confirmed By AnTuTu Benchmark

Samsung will soon announce its new Galaxy Tab S tablets and we can’t wait. The two new tablets are to be announced on June 12. Its already expected that the new tablets from Samsung will be similar to previous offerings. Pictures of  Galaxy Tab S 10.5 have already been leaked twice.

The specs of  Galaxy Tab S 8.4 have also been leaked thanks to the AnTuTu Benchmark database. They have made Galaxy Tab S 8.4 specs available on their website. Here’s a translated link, the original is in chinese.

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the Exynos 5 Octa 5420 chipset. It also has 1.9 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 and 1.3 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPUs. It has a 533MHz ARM Mali-T628 and 3GB of RAM.

In terms of storage it has 32GB internal memory. Its cot clear whether a microSD card slot will be available.

Its 8.4 inch Super AMOLED  display runs at 2560 x 1600 pixels. It has an impressive pixel density of 359 ppi. This should give the device a very sharp and clear image. Super AMOLED  display also means that the colors are also going to be clearer.

This tablet also has a 8MP camera at the back and 2.0MP at the front. These cameras should be able to take very high quality images because of its capable processor. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is planned to be released with Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a great Android Tablet. The AnTuTu 4.0 performance benchmark gave it 35,713 points. This performance will not be cheap so expect a hefty price tag.

A price leak suggests that the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 will be released in Europe for €449, and that the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 might retail for €560.

It seems like Samsung will be releasing more tablets in its Tab Pro line of tablets in 2014. The Korean giant is aiming to gain even more share in the Android Tablet market.

LG G Pad 7.0 Specs uncovered by AnTuTu Benchmark Logs

A few days ago, LG officially unveiled its new family of tablets at the MedPI tradeshow in Monaco – LG G Pad 7.0, LG G Pad 8.0 and LG G Pad 10.1. LG didn’t offer any details about the new tablets, but the technical specifications of the LG G Pad 7 leaked online after the device was spotted in AnTuTu Benchmark.

The AnTuTu listing reveals that the new 7-inch G Pad,aka LG V400 will come with a quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, and only 1 GB of RAM. The 7-inch display of the device has a modes resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, while the back accommodates a 3.2 megapixel shooter. G Pad 7.0 also comes with 1.3 MP user-facing shooter and 8 GB of inboard storage.

Fortunately, the new LG tablet will run Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and might sport LG’s own customized Optimus UI interface. As well as apps from Google, including Google Play, Gmail and YouTube, it has access to LG apps such as QPair, QSlide, KnockOn, and Slide Aside. If you’re an LG fan and have the G2, or G Flex, or another LG device, you may pick this up anyways, because of the syncing features LG has. Or at least they had them in the G Pad 8.3 released last year.

From the specs revealed by AnTuTu, LG G Pad 7.0 is indeed an entry level tablet. The direct competitor of G Pad 7.0 is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 .We are yet to get information about pricing and battery life. Based on its hardware specifications, we’re expecting the LG G Pad 7.0 to go on sale for around $200 – $250.
