Computing giant Asus unveiled two new Transformer Pads that hosts a 10.1” display and are powered with the Android 4.4 KitKat and has a supporting keyboard dock to give it a feel of laptop.
Asus Transformer Pad TF303CL
The Asus Transformer Pad TF303CL hosts a 10.1” IPS display screen and has a 1920×1200 pixel resolution with 178 degree of viewing angles. The device is powered with 1.86GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z375 processor, a 2GB RAM, 5MP primary camera, 2MP secondary camera. The device comes in two storage options of 16 and 32GB and also has a provision for microSD card for expandable memory.
It also offers some good connectivity options like DC-HSPA+, LTE Cat. 4, HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS+GLONASS. Looking to its dimensions, the Transformer Pad TF303CL measures 9.9mm in thickness and weighs 595 grams which of-course along with the keyboard dock increases to 19.8mm in thickness and 1.1kg in weight. The keyboard dock hosts the Chiclet keys. The device has front-faced stereo speakers and comes in two color options of Blue and Gold.
Asus Transformer Pad TF103C
The Asus Transformer Pad TF103C is the entry level variant of the above mentioned tablet. This device too hosts the same screen size IPS display with 1280×800 pixel resolution and has 170 degree viewing angle. The processor remains the same however, the RAM is cut to half with 1GB and the storage options include 8 and 16GB. This tablet does not offer the LTE connectivity and the camera configuration considerably drops to 2MP primary and 0.3MP secondary. This device comes in two color options of Black and White.
