According to a nearly confirmed rumor, Apple will soon be launching the next iPhone 6 and this new model will be available with two screen variants. It is expected that model will have a 4.7-inch and a 5.5-inch of screen. The latter one falls under the phablet category obviously.
Rumor also reports that Apple will launch this new model with the internal memory of 128 GB. It will not have the boosted memory only but for the camera it will also have optical image stabilization.
Till date, the largest total internal storage has been 64GB which shows that there is the possibility of phablet-esque functions availability in the stores.
Rumors indicate that addition of OIS is only for the 5.5-inch model. Camera stabilization is also not for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6.
The news came from the Chinese site Wei Feng, which said that the source was Deutsche Telecom. According to the German carrier, the releasing date for the both models is set for September. Launching date will be 19 September; this date matches with the late summer traditional Apple releasing dates. Previously, Apple has launched other iPhones in September and also the September holidays for the German Apple Stores employees have been restricted which showed that there is a strong chance of the arrival of iPhone 6 in September.
Another insight reported that these new models will be thinner than the present 7.6 millimeters thick iPhone along with the thinner screen design to make the screen looks as it is extended to the edges.
