Talking about the usual phone features, the phone has 4.7 inch 720p display and Fire OS 3.5. The device is powered by 2.2 GHz SnapDragon 800 processor and 2GB RAM. Fire is equipped with 13 MP backside camera and has access to all the apps present on Amazon’s App Store. Apart from these Amazon Fire posses a lot of new features which no other phone showcases. According to Jeff Bezozs founder and CEO of Amazon.com “Fire Phone puts everything you love about Amazon in the palm of your hand—instant access to Amazon’s vast content ecosystem and exclusive features like the Mayday button, ASAP, Second Screen, X-Ray, free unlimited photo storage, and more.”

This is a first-ever smartphone features five front cameras. The one placed just above the screen does the standard job, while the other four – placed on four corners of the phone – scan the user’s eyes. These four cameras use infrared sensing and can track the user’s eyes even in the dark. The Fire Phone uses this eye-tracking technology to power its Dynamic Perspective feature. This feature will give a phone a 3D-like picture screen. With Dynamic Perspective, users can simply tilt Amazon Fire Phone to perform common functions. A right tilt enables them to navigate through menus, while a left tilt allows them to attach photos to messages, view lyrics of songs etc.

Firefly is another signature feature of Amazon Fire Phone. The user simply needs to take a photo of the text on a business card, advertisements, posters etc from the smartphone and the phone will automatically identify the contact information and save it in the address book. So, user can identify a lot of things from books, artwork to wine labels. The company is releasing the Firefly software development kit (SDK) to all developers, so third-party app makers may add more functionality to this feature. This feature of the phone may prove to be a major breakthrough.

Our earlier prediction finally turns out to be true as the Amazon Fire will be available US only through AT&T. The 32GB version of Fire Phone will cost $199 with a two-year contract. The 64GB version will cost $299. Take a look at this video ad of the phone and peep into an amazing world of the new Amazon Fire.
