Now here is what is new for Samsung – Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 5.0! Android Lollipop version is the most updated and this should mean a lot of advantages for Samsung.
What are we to expect from it?

Well, Samsung basically improved a lot in the system. Korean company engineers have made efforts in incorporating the TouchWiz UI in it. And the Google’s Lollipop’s green elements that we got used to seeing were now changed into Samsung’s blue.

Galaxy s5 prime to be released parallel to LG G3

 

Good news for the tech junkies; there are rumors about Samsung s5 prime, which was expected to be released during the start of this year, might be landing in the markets soon. The s5 prime is supposed to be released in mid June, parallel to LG G3. Interestingly, both these devices will contain some amazing features like QHD display and a snapdragon chipset too. We might get to see a metallic design for s5 prime too.

Reports are coming that Samsung is planning to release s5 prime just a few days after LG G3 is been released. This is to ensure that Samsung could retain its market presence and goodwill. This way, Samsung s5 prime will become the substitute for the older s5 instead of LG G3.

The same rumors are coming from the homeland of Samsung, that the release of LG G3 will be followed by a release of S5 prime. It is been anticipated that the product will be released in mid-June in Korea. The S5 or Galaxy Kq’s price is going to be somewhere around $880. This is slightly higher than the price of S5, but within the reach of people. Besides, the price shall not mean much for all those who are curious about these new features added.

The news about release in Korea is been confirmed, but for the rest of the world, it is still suspense. Although we can expect the launch within a week of the release of LG G3, the expected date for announcement being May 27.

Anyways, whatever the market strategy of these tech giants is; it is good news for the customers, as they will get a variety to choose from.

The firmware update would make a lot of people happy indeed !!!

Fingerprint sensors initially came on board Samsung, with the giant’s latest and best device, the Galaxy S5. Even though many other smart phones came with this feature previously, the Galaxy S5 is the only one that is compatible with PayPal’s authorization system, FIDO. Still this new feature was such that it could easily be overlooked and it did not go unnoticed by Samsung, which has a firmware update for its international variation of the device, SM-G900F. This update seems to increase the overall accuracy too.

The firmware update, G900FXXU1ANE2, improves the precision of the feature. It does not stop with that. The camera and interface components seem to have been enhanced, with the camera and gallery opening quicker than before. This feature goes well with the S5’s 16MP rear camera with 0.3 second autofocus. This could be a thing to celebrate for Samsung fans, granting them better user experience if they decide to use the S5’s ISOCELL camera.

This update to the firmware goes deeper than that. It offers some vital performance refinements and better RAM management. It is highly possible that this update incorporates usual fixes too. Though there have been many other updates previously, G900FXXU1ANE2 is the first one in May which Samsung S5 receives.

The update is available for consumers, both through the in device updater and through Kies, Samsung’s desktop companion suite. It may take time for your device to progress on the queue though. You could anytime flash your firmware and manually download the update if you wish from the internet.
