What does make Nokia’s forthcoming Lumia 635 special? It is packing solid hardware along with LTE connectivity and an affordable price point.

The new Nokia will be the first gadget stuffing Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box. Being the first Windows Phone with on-screen navigation keys, it will be available at an affordable price. This will become the first Nokia Windows Phone which does not have a dedicated shutter-button for the camera.

Somehow, to be affordable and SIM-free below the $200 mark, some exceptions around the hardware or feature-set is inevitable. So many times, high-speed data is one of the features which have been compromised in favour of HSPA connectivity.

The Lumia 635does not focus much on the data pinch. Meanwhile, it does have a slower processor than its flagship counter-part, the Lumia 930, it is still a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 fine-tuned at 1.2GHz.It sounds mediocre but it has a calibre and more-than-enough horsepower to handle the Windows Phone OS. The 5MP camera on the Lumia 635 is not a ZEISS optics, PureView unit, but we know Nokia, now Microsoft Mobile, knows how to make cameras. While waiting to get hands on such master-piece which will come with a 5 MP camera,the Nokia Lumia 635 will be offered on AT&T ,MetroPCS , T-Mobile in the US and the other parts of the world.

Xperia Z2 now officially available through Sony Online Stores across Europe

Sony Xperia Z2 has been officially launched in Europe. All the Sony Mobile’s eshops across Europe are showing the Xperia Z2 smartphone ‘in stock’.

Readers will recall that pre-orders for Sony Xperia Z2 had started in the beginning of April and their shipment began around mid-April. Official launch of the handset was pushed back to May 1 owing to stock shortages. Well, now everything seems to be fine and the Sony Xperia Z2 is now available and ready for shipment in the Japanese giant’s European online stores.

Sony Xperia Z2 is available in UK for £599, in France for €699, in Germany for €679, in Italy for €699, in Sweden for SEK 5,995, in Spain for €689 and in Poland for PLN 2,799. The device is available in all the 3 colors – Black, White and Purple. However, stocks of some colors are already getting exhausted at certain places, although they are likely to be replenished soon.

So now the European fans of Sony Xperia Z2 will finally be able to get the masterpiece in their hands.
