The Worldwide Developers’ Conference was held in June and followed by the iPhone event. In this event which was held in September, we also got to see the new Apple Watch and the new iPad. The next event is bound to be about the Apple Watch’s release. This new smartwatch is on the horizon and according to Tim Cook, it should be released by April. Which means that they are bound to hold another event before February ends.

This information is sourced to the French site iGen. According to them, the event may be scheduled for 24th February. Since they have been a good source of consistently reliable information, we have no reason to doubt them this time. This keynote is expected to formally introduce the Apple Watch to the masses. This seems a little too early though. We say this because iOS 8.2 was scheduled to be released in March. This new update was to include important components necessary for Apple Watch integration with the iPhone.

FYI the claim that Apple Watch will be unveiled in this particular keynote is still a matter of speculation. It is also expected that Apple plans to release another product, the 12-inch MacBook Air. Rumor has it that the 12-inch MacBook Air is more than just the screen size, there are also significant performance boosts in store for Apple consumers. It is said that the new device will have even fewer ports which some people might not like but all these improvements are still yet to be seen to be criticized. Maybe Apple will win its critics over once again.

Apple May Launch 12″ MacBook Air In Mid-2015 In Gold, Silver And Space Gray

The latest Apple news claims that the upcoming rumored 12-inch MacBook Air which is set to launch sometime in the middle of 2015 will have the colors similar to the iPhone. Expected colors are silver, space gray and gold. This news is provided by A Tech Website and it cited a source familiar with Apple affairs.

According to the source, Apple has been working on new MacBook Air size of 12-inch screen. The company already has the size 11-inch and 13-inch for the MacBook Air and this new size would be the ‘in between’ model of the two. The source further tells that 12-inch MacBook will have the new color range of space gray and gold; the new additions in the current MacBook color that is “raw” aluminum.

The source states that Apple is planning to launch this newly sized MacBook in the middle of the year 2015; however, this is not the first time that the expected date of this new release has been announced. The releasing dates had been taken back many times formerly.

A12-inch thin-and-light Macbook is in rumors for quite a long time. Previously, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported its launch in 2014. After that the date was pushed forward to 2015.

If the rumors proved to be true then this would be the first time when Apple would try something new by leaving all the previous and present aluminum MacBook models. The company has already moved the iPhone product line in to three colors and there are reports that Apple is planning to do the same with iPad.
