Nokia announces two selfie taking smartphones Lumia 730 and Lumia 735: Official Images and Promo video

At the second day of IFA 2014 Berlin expo, Nokia has announced its two Skype and selfie toting smartphones the Lumia 735 and the Lumia 730 Dual SIM. Both the device hosts a powerful Full-HD 5MP fornt facing camera with wide-angle which allows more number of people to be snapped is a shot.

Both the devices have Lumia Selfie app pre-loaded in them that allows to create original selfies. Both the devices run the latest available Windows 8.1 that allows users to switch between the voice and Skype video calls with just a tap and with the built-in microphones and intelligent Lumia voice-processing technology, users can get very clear audio even in noisy conditions. Selected markets will even get a free three-month Skype Unlimited World so it will be easier for you to connect with families and folks that are overseas through international calls.

At its back, the device hosts a 6.7MP primary camera which too produce excellent results even in low-light conditions and the Nokia Camera offers some very good customizable shooting options and even post shot editing features along with it.

Looking to their general specs, both the devices have a 4.7inch Super Sensitive Touch HD OLED display, a powerful 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 8GB of built-in storage with 128GB of expandable storage via microSD in addition to the 15GB of free cloud storage on OneDrive. Both the device offer feature like the built-in wireless charging and 4G/LTE connectivity. The Lumia 735 has a single SIM connectivity while the Lumia 730 is a Dual SIM variant. Both the handsets are available in standard Lumia color options of dark grey, bright orange, bright green and white.

The device also come with some special features like Action Center and Live Tiles, pinpoint mapping and sat nav tech from HERE Maps and Drive+, social networking apps such as Instagram and Twitter, cloud-based productivity in the shape of Microsoft Office, latest fitness apps such as Fitbit and Adidas miCoach  that offer the revolutionary Sensorcore technology and much more. Both the device will start shipping this month. The 4G/LTE model will be priced for an affordable price of 219 EUR while the 3G model for 199EUR.

Nokia"s first selfie phone:Lumia 730

Nokia Lumia 730 known as “Superman” to be launched in last week August 2014 in US. The device will come with new Firmware called “Debian Red”, running on Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 out of the box.

The Lumia 730 will be a phone for selfie lovers as rumors suggest a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Other unofficial specs include a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 4.7-inch display with 720p resolution, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and a 2000 mAh battery.

The selfie smartphone from Nokia will be available with Dual Sim variant. It has a unibody polycarbonate build and an 8-megapixel rear camera with Zeiss optics as well as on-screen software buttons.

The Lumia 730 might be heading to Verizon and AT&T in the US before the end of August, with further markets to follow. As dual SIM smartphones are particularly popular in countries such as India and China, there are likely to be plenty of potential buyers waiting to see if the phone will release in their region.

The smartphone has been leaked in green and orange color variants till now. No details on pricing yet, but we can estimate the price around 300$-350$ for the amazing selfie device from the Microsoft powered Nokia.
